Job description:Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Family Law Attorney to join our legal team. In this role, you will provide expert legal counsel and advocacy for clients navigating complex family law matters, including divorce, child custody, adoption, and spousal support. Your energetic approach will help clients achieve favorable outcomes while ensuring compliance with all relevant statutes and regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in legal research, negotiation, and courtroom procedures, with a passion for advocating on behalf of families during challenging times.DutiesRepresent clients in family law cases, including divorce proceedings, child custody disputes, and spousal support negotiationsConduct comprehensive legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategiesDraft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and court depositionsPrepare for trial by organizing evidence, developing case theories, and coordinating witness testimonyNegotiate settlements that align with clients’ best interests while maintaining a positive and proactive approachCommunicate effectively with clients to keep them informed of case progress and legal optionsStay current on evolving family law statutes, procedural law, and relevant regulations to ensure compliance and effective advocacyQualificationsJuris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and admission to the state barMinimum 2 years experience in family law practice with a strong understanding of related legal areas such as estate planning, employment law, and personal injury lawDemonstrated ability to handle court depositions, trial preparation, and litigation strategiesExcellent research skills utilizing LexisNexis and Westlaw for statutory and case law analysisStrong negotiation skills with a track record of successful client advocacyProficiency in legal drafting, motion preparation, and procedural law knowledgeExceptional writing skills for clear legal documentation and client communicationExperience with case management software and legal administrative processesAbility to work efficiently under pressure while managing multiple cases simultaneouslyJoin our team if you’re passionate about making a meaningful difference in families’ lives through energetic advocacy and expert legal counsel.
