The role involves assisting the finance team in ensuring accurate accounting, statutory compliance, regulatory reporting, and internal process control. </p> <b>Key Responsibilities </b> <ul> <li> <p>Assist in maintaining accurate books of accounts in compliance with accounting standards. </p> </li> <li> <p>Support month-end and year-end closing activities. </p> </li> <li> <p>Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, and management dashboards. </p> </li> <li> <p>Assist in internal audits, statutory audits, and compliance-related documentation. </p> </li> <li> <p>Work with the finance team to ensure RBI/NBFC regulatory compliance. </p> </li> <li> <p>Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory returns and reconciliations. </p> </li> <li> <p>Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. </p> </li> <li> <p>Collaborate with cross-functional teams for financial data collection and analysis. </p> </li> <li> <p>Manage documentation, vendor reconciliations, and bank reconciliations. </p> </li> </ul> <b>Skills &amp; Competencies </b> <ul> <li> <p>Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting. </p> </li> <li> <p>Working knowledge of MS Excel and accounting/ERP software. </p> </li> <li> <p>Good analytical ability and attention to detail. </p> </li> <li> <p>Ability to work under timelines within a regulated NBFC environment. </p> </li> <li> <p>Strong communication and documentation skills. </p> </li> </ul> <b>Preferred Candidate Profile </b> <ul> <li> <p>CA Inter (Pass) compulsory </p> </li> <li> <p>Candidates based in <b>Kochi/Ernakulam </b> preferred </p> </li> <li> <p>Strong commitment to learning and growing within the financial services sector </p> </li> <li> <p>Ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy in financial data </p> </li> </ul> <p></p>
