Urgent Hiring: Education Counsellor/ Programme Counsellor

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and student-focused Education Counsellor to join our Admissions team. In this role, you will guide prospective students and parents through the admission process while helping them choose the right career path in creative and emerging technologies.

You will counsel students for programs in:

• Animation
• VFX
• Gaming
• Comics
• XR/VR
• Digital Media
• Content Creation
• Creative Technologies

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel prospective students and parents on courses, eligibility, curriculum, career opportunities, and the admission process.
• Understand students' interests and career goals to recommend suitable programs.
• Handle enquiries received through the website, social media, referrals, and other admission channels.
• Follow up with prospective students and convert qualified leads into admissions.
• Maintain accurate records in the CRM, including lead status, counselling notes, and follow-up schedules.
• Resolve queries related to courses, fees, schedules, eligibility, certifications, and admissions.
• Coordinate with the Academic, Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure a smooth admission process.
• Guide students through applications, documentation, fee payments, and enrolment.
• Prepare daily and weekly reports on enquiries, counselling activities, and admissions.
• Stay updated on institute programs, admission policies, and industry trends through ongoing training.

Eligibility

• Graduate in any discipline.
• Preferred educational background in Education, Psychology, Management, Marketing, Commerce, Mass Communication, Media, Animation, Design, or related fields.
• Certifications in Counselling, Admissions, Communication, Sales, or EdTech will be an added advantage.

Experience

• 2 - 6 years of experience in Education Counselling, Admissions, Student Counselling, Tele Counselling, EdTech Sales, or Student Outreach.
• Experience in EdTech, Education, Skilling, Media, Animation, Gaming, or Creative Technology is preferred.
• Freshers with excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
