Your WorkDiagnose, treat, and manage small animal cases; provide wellness and preventive care; perform soft tissue surgical and dental procedures; and develop individualized treatment plans. Educate clients, maintain thorough medical records, collaborate with fellow doctors, and guide and mentor support staff while contributing to a positive workplace.
Qualifications• DVM/VMD degree from an accredited veterinary program• Current Virginia veterinary license or eligibility to obtain licensure• Strong communication skills, a collaborative approach, and a commitment to high-quality medicine and continued learning• Two or more years of small animal general practice experience preferred, including soft tissue surgery and dentistry; not required
