Senior Summit Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Summit Developer to lead the implementation, customization, integration, and support of the ION Summit trading platform within our Treasury technology landscape. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Summit architecture, treasury products, and financial systems, with a strong track record of delivering scalable and compliant trading solutions in complex enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities:Lead the design, development, configuration, enhancement, and ongoing support of the Summit trading platform across Treasury and Capital Markets functions.Partner closely with Front Office, Middle Office, Risk, Operations, Product, and Technology teams to deliver solutions supporting trading, valuation, settlements, accounting, and regulatory reporting.Develop and maintain Summit interfaces, custom workflows, reports, and integrations with internal and third-party systems.Analyze and resolve complex production issues while ensuring platform stability, performance, scalability, and operational excellence.Support platform upgrades, environment migrations, release deployments, and system modernization initiatives.Collaborate with external vendors and business stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and recommend best-practice solutions.Ensure compliance with regulatory, audit, security, and operational risk management requirements.Required Qualifications & Technical Skills:8+ years of experience in financial services technology with significant hands-on experience supporting and developing within the ION Summit platform.Strong understanding of Treasury, Capital Markets, Fixed Income, FX, Money Markets, Derivatives, Securities Financing, and Liquidity Management products.Advanced proficiency in C++ development, including object-oriented design, debugging, and performance optimization.Strong experience with SQL, database design, query optimization, stored procedures, and data analysis.Expertise working in Unix/Linux environments, including shell scripting, process automation, and system troubleshooting.Proficiency in Python and other scripting languages for automation, integration, and operational support.Experience with Summit modules including:Trade CaptureRisk & PnLMarket DataBack Office ProcessingAccounting & SettlementReporting & InterfacesStrong understanding of system integration technologies, APIs, messaging frameworks, file-based interfaces, and ETL processes.Experience supporting high-availability, mission-critical trading applications within enterprise financial institutions.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with cloud technologies, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and application monitoring tools.Knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements within Treasury and Capital Markets environments.Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and SDLC best practices.Exposure to market data vendors, pricing engines, and real-time trading systems.Soft Skills:Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting abilities.Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional business and technology teams in a fast-paced trading environment. xzbcwsv Ability to lead technical discussions, mentor junior developers, and drive solution delivery from conception through production support.
