Health Plan Operations Partner
Evio · United States
Job Description
Evio Overview Evio is a highly unique pharmacy solutions company that was founded by and works closely with health plans to implement transformative (to cost, quality, access and experience) initiatives primarily focused on specialty and other high-cost medication solutions. In 2020, a group of five amazing Blue Cross Blue Shield health plans that in total serve more than 20 million members recognized that the way medications get to patients needs significant reform—rapidly rising costs and massive system complexities are detrimental to patients and the entire industry. In 2025, Wellmark joined as Evio's first non-founding investor and sixth owner health plan. Each company made, and continues to make, significant investments to establish Evio as an independent entity to lead this transformation. Evio has advanced analytics and contracting capabilities at scale, and a suite of digital tools, to power our high-cost medication solutions. Our solutions act as a self-reinforcing “flywheel” where each element strengthens and feeds into the next, and support an “Only Evio can do that,” mindset and prioritization. Evio is also a company that has invested heavily in and been highly intentional about people, team and culture. We believe we have created a very special place to work and encourage candidates to observe and ask us about our culture and decide for themselves. Evio's Values
- Empathy– The people our business serves always come first. We care for our teammates and put ourselves in the shoes of our health plan customers and the patients and clinicians our solutions benefit.
- Diversity – We are committed to fostering a culture where everyone belongs and is valued for their background, experience and insights – one that encourages diversity of ideas, and is a nurturing, trusting, and accepting place for all.
- Adventure – We are flexible, thrive in ambiguity, fail fast, and pivot quickly to get to a better answer. We celebrate wins and pivots with equal intensity.
- Relentless – Guided by evidence and data, we are creative, curious, and unwavering in our pursuit of challenging the status quo and each other.
- Transparency – Just as we seek to bring transparency to the pharmacy supply chain, authenticity and integrity are core to the way we communicate.
- Excellence – We strive to raise the bar in all we do by hiring and developing exceptional talent and holding ourselves and our thinking to the highest standard.
- Partner with the Chief Customer Officer on customer strategy and execution. Help prioritize key initiatives, coordinate work across Evio, and ensure we engage investor/customers in a unified and consistent way.
- Lead the operating rhythm for Evio’s bi-weekly Customer Advisory Committee. Develop agendas, coordinate executive participation, prepare materials and narratives, capture decisions, and drive timely follow-through. Ensure CAC input informs Evio’s strategic priorities.
- Coordinate customer engagement across Evio. Partner with other Evio product teams to clarify ownership, connect the right experts to customer needs, streamline communication, and reduce unnecessary demands on investor/customer health plans.
- Track adoption, value, and customer insights, particularly related to our work in medication contracting with pharmaceutical manufacturers. Gather and synthesize how investor/customers are adopting Evio’s medication contracts and the value they are realizing. Partner with the pharma contracting team to identify opportunities to increase customer value.
- Strengthen customer relationship management. Build cross-functional processes that improve internal visibility and coordination across customer relationships and activities. Help implement CRM software and processes to track and support customer initiatives.
- Support annual investor/customer business and financial planning. Coordinate Evio’s products, services, value proposition, demonstrated impact, and financial investment requests into a clear, compelling annual customer offering and budget.
- Create executive and customer communications. Develop on-brand presentations and narratives that make complex information clear and actionable for senior internal and external audiences.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, pharmacy, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
- Healthcare experience: 7+ years of progressive healthcare experience, including direct experience working with or supporting health plans. Pharmacy, PBM, or health plan pharmacy experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of the health plan landscape and priorities of senior health plan leaders, including Chief Pharmacy Officers and Vice Presidents of Pharmacy.
- Executive forums: Experience supporting executive governance bodies, advisory councils, boards, or similar forums, including agenda development, executive communications, meeting preparation, and follow-through.
- Relationship building: Strong executive presence and ability to build credibility with internal teammates and senior investor/customer leaders.
- Communication and storytelling: Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with particular strength in executive storytelling and presentation development according to brand standards.
- Organization and execution: Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and bring structure to ambiguous work.
- Adaptability and resilience: Resourceful, curious, and comfortable shifting between different types of work and taking on unfamiliar challenges as priorities evolve.
- Exceptional problem solving: Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly bring structure to complex and ambiguous challenges, connect insights across customers and teams, and develop thoughtful, actionable solutions for customers. Uses sound judgment to balance customer needs, stakeholder perspectives, and business priorities.
- All official communication will come from an email ending in @evio.com.
- We will never conduct text-only interviews (Teams, SMS, WhatsApp, Telegram, etc.).
- We will never ask for payment, gift cards, fees, or purchases of any kind.
- We will never request sensitive financial information during the recruiting process.
- Our open roles are posted only on our official website, LinkedIn, and Greenhouse job board.
