Manager BIS & Product Compliance

Key Responsibilities Lead end to end BIS compliance and product certification activities. Own product registration, testing, certification, BIS marking, renewal and surveillance requirements. Drive documentation, testing and final registration for BIS certification. Coordinate with BIS authorities, testing laboratories, certification agencies and relevant government departments. Manage DPIIT-related certification and compliance requirements. Monitor changes in GoI regulations and assess their impact on company products. Ensure compliance at warehouse and import level as per applicable GoI rules. Maintain product compliance trackers, certificates, test reports and regulatory documentation. Manage regulatory audits and ensure timely closure of observations. Coordinate with business, product, supply chain, service and other internal stakeholders. Guide new product launches/configurations from a regulatory compliance perspective. Support E-waste and Plastic Waste/EPR compliance wherever applicable. Liaise with industry associations and relevant government bodies. Identify compliance risks and proactively recommend corrective/preventive actions. Representing BIN at various Industry Association (CII/FICCI/MAIT, etc).
