Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Leadership & Control

• Maintain strong financial governance and internal financial hygiene.
• Ensure real-time and accurate tracking of budgets, cash flows, forecasts, and financial performance.
• Own project-level P&L management with strict budget adherence throughout the production lifecycle.
• Monitor financial health and recommend corrective actions to optimize profitability.

2. Investor, Partner & Compliance Management

• Lead financial reporting and compliance for investors, partners, and other key stakeholders.
• Ensure fund deployment aligns with contractual obligations and approved budgets.
• Maintain audit-ready financial records and documentation.
• Support due diligence, audits, and regulatory compliance requirements.

3. Process Optimization & Operational Efficiency

• Identify financial and operational inefficiencies across functions.
• Design and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and cost efficiency.
• Streamline cross-functional communication and financial workflows.
• Establish standardized processes to improve governance and reporting accuracy.

4. Production Financial Management

• Monitor real-time production expenses against approved budgets.
• Reconcile production-related costs and establish robust financial controls.
• Oversee vendor payments, contract compliance, and cash flow planning.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks throughout the production lifecycle.

5. Client & Stakeholder Communication

• Represent the finance function in meetings with sponsors, investors, clients, and strategic partners.
• Present concise updates on budgets, financial performance, project risks, and ROI.
• Support commercial negotiations with data-driven financial insights.
• Build trust with stakeholders through transparent and timely financial reporting.

6. Financial Systems, Controls & Reporting

• Implement financial systems and reporting frameworks tailored to the organization's operating model.
• Maintain accurate, auditable records of transactions, contracts, and project documentation.
• Strengthen internal controls to ensure financial integrity and accountability.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, audit, and regulatory requirements.

7. Strategic Financial Planning

• Partner with leadership to align financial strategy with business growth and long-term objectives.
• Develop financial models, scenario planning, investment cases, and business expansion frameworks.
• Guide capital allocation across new business initiatives, IPs, markets, and strategic partnerships.
• Provide commercial insights to support informed decision-making and sustainable growth.

Required Skills & Qualifications Experience:

• Proven experience in finance, financial strategy, or dynamic Founder’s Office roles.
• Strong understanding of financial operations, budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex financial planning and cross-functional business initiatives.
• Familiarity with grant funding, CSR compliance, and fund utilization frameworks.
• Understanding of financial management within creative production or project-based business environments.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present financial insights effectively.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to work across multiple teams and drive execution.
• Comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments while managing risk and tight deadlines.
• High ownership mindset with the ability to independently prioritize and execute critical initiatives.
• Professional qualification such as CA, MBA (Finance), or an equivalent finance-related degree is strongly preferred.
