General Manager – Bagels & Co
Salary: $60,000 – $65,000 per yearJob Type: Full-TimeLocation: In PersonIncentives: Bonus Plan, 2 weeks paid vacation
Position OverviewWe are seeking a driven, hands-on General Manager to lead daily operations and build a high-performing team. This role requires strong leadership in both Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH), with a focus on execution, culture, and financial performance. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands operational systems, and takes ownership of their store’s success.
Key ResponsibilitiesOversee all aspects of daily operations including scheduling, labor management, and executionLead and develop team members through hands-on coaching and trainingManage inventory, ordering, and product flow to minimize waste and maximize efficiencyEnsure consistent execution of brand standards in food quality, cleanliness, and hospitalityAnalyze and manage P&L performance, including labor and COGS controlExecute sales forecasting and align staffing and production accordinglyMaintain strong FOH and BOH systems to support speed and accuracyHandle guest interactions professionally and resolve issues effectivelyRecruit, interview, and onboard new team membersCreate a positive, accountable, and performance-driven culture within the store
QualificationsPrevious General Manager or senior leadership experience in a high-volume restaurant environmentStrong knowledge of both FOH and BOH operationsProven ability to manage P&L, including labor, COGS, and profitabilityExperience with sales forecasting, inventory management, and operational planningStrong leadership, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to multitask and perform in a fast-paced environmentDetail-oriented with a focus on execution and consistencyFlexible schedule, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
