About the Company

We are seeking a skilled and motivated 2D AutoCAD Technician to join our Building Services design team at the Global Excellence Centre (GEC) in India. The successful candidate will work closely with our UK Main Office to develop and maintain Building Information Models (BIM) for various projects. This role will involve creating detailed 2D drawings and schematics that support design, construction, and facility management processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 2D drawings for MEP systems using AutoCAD software.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure drawings meet project specifications.
• Revise and update drawings based on feedback and changes in project scope.
• Maintain organized documentation of all drawings and revisions.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
• Participate in project meetings to provide technical input and support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD software.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems and design principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
• Prior experience in a similar role is preferred.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with international projects, specifically in collaboration with UK teams.
• Knowledge of ISO 19650 series standards.
• Familiarity with additional software tools related to BIM and building services (e.g., Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Construction Cloud, pyRevit, Dynamo).
• Certification or Diploma in Drafting, BIM management or related professional qualifications.
