Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant | Acute Care in Lanham, MD. This travel assignment starts on 09/18/2026 and runs for approximately 16 weeks. - Perform OT evaluations and provide therapeutic interventions to support ADLs and mobility for adult patients.
- Develop and implement patient-centered treatment plans aligned with goals for functional restoration and independence.
- Document patient progress, goals, and outcomes in medical records per facility policy; communicate with the interdisciplinary care team.
- Collaborate with occupational therapy colleagues, physical therapy, nursing, social work, and case management to coordinate discharge planning and progression toward rehab goals.
- Monitor safety, apply standard precautions, and maintain infection control during therapy sessions.
- Adapt activities, equipment, and therapeutic approaches to meet individual patient needs and goals. Requirements
- Active Maryland COTA license or eligibility to practice as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in Maryland.
- Successful completion of an accredited OTA program.
- Ability to work effectively in a skilled nursing facility environment.
- Availability for a travel assignment beginning 09/18/2026 and lasting approximately 16 weeks.
