Assistant Professor: Manufacturing Engineering

<p><strong>ROLE SUMMARY </strong> </p><p> The Assistant Professor will teach, mentor, and support delivery of the BTech Manufacturing Engineering programme at the School of Advanced Manufacturing, Sricity International University. The programme follows a Work-Study dual model with block teaching, one course at a time. </p><p> <strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES </strong> </p><p>•      Teach &amp; evaluate assigned courses across 4 years using the block-teaching model (one course at a time, full working week). </p><p>•      Prepare course plans, unit content, lab manuals, and learning resources. </p><p>•      Supervise student projects, on-the-job training (OJT), and industry-integrated learning activities. </p><p>•      Mentor and advise students on academic progress, attendance, and professional development. </p><p>•      Participate in admissions, internal assessment, and departmental and institutional committees. </p><p>•      Maintain academic records, attendance, and assessment data as per university norms. </p><p><strong>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS </strong> </p><p>•      BE/BTech in Mechanical or an allied branch and ME/MTech with specialization in Manufacturing, Production, or Industrial Engineering, with first class or equivalent at both levels, as per AICTE norms. </p><p>•      Postgraduate specialization in manufacturing, production, and industrial engineering. </p><p>•      Good communication skills in English; working knowledge of Telugu or Hindi is an advantage. </p><p>•      Commitment to industry-integrated, hands-on engineering education. </p><p><strong>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS </strong> </p><p>•      Mtech in a relevant area of manufacturing, production, or industrial engineering. </p><p>•      Industry or applied research experience in manufacturing. </p><p><strong>KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES </strong> </p><p>•      Subject Expertise in Manufacturing Engineering </p><p>•      Classroom and Laboratory Instruction </p><p>•      Student Mentoring and Project Supervision </p>
