Roop Vatika is looking for a creative and experienced Fashion Designer to join our team and contribute to the development of our latest fashion collections.

Key Responsibilities

• Create new designs for Suits, Lehengas, Gowns, Indo-Western & Ethnic Wear .
• Develop sketches, mood boards, patterns, trims and colour palettes.
• Work closely with sampling, stitching and production teams to develop prototypes.
• Select fabrics, laces, embroideries and embellishments based on trends and budgets.
• Manage fittings, corrections and final finishing.
• Ensure designs are aesthetically appealing, comfortable and production-friendly.
• Coordinate with merchandising and store teams to understand customer preferences and market gaps.
• Conduct competitor analysis, market research and trend forecasting.
• Approve final samples and support bulk production.
• Maintain design libraries, tech packs and production sheets.
• Handle buyer management and coordination .

Ideal Candidate

• Strong understanding of Indian ethnic and contemporary fashion.
• Good knowledge of fabrics, embroidery, embellishments and garment construction.
• Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively with production and merchandising teams.
