Senior Laravel Developer

You will work on the server side of the web platforms we build for clients, most of them in hospitality and property: booking sites, owner portals and the integrations that connect them to property management systems and channel managers. You will also contribute to our own products.

You will work with the project lead and the front-end developers, from planning a feature to putting it live and supporting it afterwards.

Responsibilities

• Design and build Laravel applications, REST APIs and admin panels
• Build and maintain integrations with third‑party APIs such as PMS platforms, payment providers and CRMs
• Model data in MySQL, write migrations and keep queries fast as data grows
• Write automated tests and review pull requests from other developers
• Set up queues, scheduled jobs and webhooks, and handle failures cleanly
• Deploy, monitor and fix issues on live client systems
• Estimate tasks and explain technical trade-offs to the project lead

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional PHP development, most of it with Laravel
• Solid understanding of REST API design, authentication and validation
• Good MySQL skills: indexes, relationships and query optimisation
• Experience with Git, code review and automated testing (PHPUnit or Pest)
• Experience integrating third‑party APIs and handling webhooks
• Clear written English for working with clients in the UK, US and Europe

Nice to have

• Experience with PMS or channel‑manager APIs (for example Guesty, Hostaway or Hostfully)
• WordPress or WooCommerce plugin development
• Docker and Linux server administration
