Accountant

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to keep our finances accurate, organised, and moving at the pace of the business. What you’ll do Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and expense records. Prepare and issue client invoices; track collections and follow up on outstanding payments. Process vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and payments while maintaining proper approvals and documentation. Maintain project-wise cost, revenue, and profitability records for agency campaigns and retainers. Support monthly closing activities, including ledger scrutiny, accruals, reconciliations, and management reports. Prepare GST, TDS, and other statutory working papers; coordinate with external CA/tax advisors for filings and compliance. Assist with payroll inputs, audit schedules, financial documentation, and annual reporting. Maintain accurate financial records in the accounting system and improve finance processes as the business grows. Work closely with account management, operations, and leadership to provide timely financial visibility. What we’re looking for Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2 years of accounting experience, ideally in an agency, services, media, consulting, or fast-paced business. Working knowledge of Indian GST, TDS, invoicing, and basic statutory compliance. Strong proficiency in Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software, plus Excel/Google Sheets. Excellent attention to detail with zero errors , ownership, and ability to manage multiple deadlines. Clear communication skills and a practical, solution-oriented mindset.
