Sr. Verification & Validation Engineer

<h3>Responsibilities: </h3> <p></p> <p><b>Automation &amp; Software Verification </b> </p> <p>• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites (functional, regression, integration, performance).<br />• Develop Python-based test scripts and custom automation frameworks.<br />• Use tools such as Robot Framework, Selenium, and other libraries for automation of UI/embedded systems.<br />• Define test strategies, create comprehensive test plans, and manage test cases using Jira or equivalent tools.<br />• Perform debugging, log analysis, and root cause investigation for complex issues.<br />• Integrate test automation with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps). </p> <p><b>System / Machine Validation </b> </p> <p>• Conduct hands-on validation tests on machines, simulators, test benches, and integrated systems.<br />• Validate end-to-end workflows on mining/drilling equipment and ensure system compliance with functional &amp; safety requirements.<br />• Perform hardware–software integration testing, including sensor, I/O, hydraulics, engine, and actuator interactions.<br />• Analyse machine performance, check system response behaviour, and document deviations or improvement needs.<br />• Ensure adherence to Epiroc’s validation standards, safety practices, and field-testing guidelines. </p> <p>•Ability to define test strategies, create detailed test plans, and manage test case repositories using tools like Jira. </p> Skilled in troubleshooting and root cause analysis of complex issues. <li>Experience with debugging tools and version control systems Git). </li> <li>Strong communication skills to work with cross-functional teams including developers, system engineers, and product owners. </li> <li>Ability to lead testing discussions, reviews, and defect triages. </li> <li>Passion for quality advocacy and mentoring junior team members in testing best practices. </li> <p><b>Required Skills and Qualifications: </b> </p> <b>Bachelor’s or master’s degree </b> in relevant engineering fields <b>Electronics </b>, Mechatronics, <b>Robotics </b>, Computer Science) with . <li>Proficient in <b>Python </b> with the ability to develop test scripts and automation frameworks. </li> <li>Experience in C++, PLC- based systems is an asset. </li> <li>Experience with automation tools such as <b>Robot Framework </b>, <b>Selenium </b>, and related test libraries. </li> <li>Hands-on experience with <b>Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) </b>, including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-based environment. </li> <li>Familiarity with communication protocols like <b>CAN, J9 </b>, LIN, and Ethernet is an advantage. </li> <li>Experience using Git for version control, CI/CD practices, and tools within the Azure DevOps ecosystem.
