Our busy, well-established practice specializes in medical dermatology, with a strong emphasis on skin cancerprevention, diagnosis, and treatment. We do NOT offer cosmetic procedures.
Many of our patients are older adults, so kindness, patience, compassion, and outstanding customer service areessential. We take great pride in providing exceptional patient care in a positive, supportive, and welcomingenvironment.
We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys helping people, has a positive attitude, takes initiative, andworks well as part of a team.Qualifications — REQUIRED Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a Dermatology office EPIC electronic medical records (EMR) experience REQUIRED Previous experience working for a Sharp Community Medical Group practice strongly preferred Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong computer skills and ability to learn quickly Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask in a busy office Professional, friendly, compassionate, and dependable Comfortable communicating with patients, physicians, and other medical professionalsAbility to work efficiently and accurately while maintaining a positive attitudeExperience as a Medical Assistant (MA), Medical Receptionist, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), iswelcomed, provided the applicant meets the required medical office and EPIC experience qualifications.
Job ResponsibilitiesGreet patients warmly and provide exceptional customer serviceAnswer phones, schedule appointments, and assist with patient inquiriesCheck patients in and out of the officeVerify patient information and assist with insurance-related tasksAccurately enter and update patient information in EPICAssist with prescription requests, patient messages, and communication with pharmaciesCoordinate with physicians and physician assistants to ensure efficient patient careAssist with medical office workflow and administrative responsibilitiesMaintain patient confidentiality and professionalismHelp keep the office organized, efficient, and running smoothlyResponsibilities may include both front-office and medical assistant duties, depending on experience and office needs.
