Seeking a mid-level General Liability Associate with 2–8 years of post-bar experience and an active New York bar. This is not a clerkship or first-year seat.Our client is a national insurance-defense firm with a Manhattan office that handles New York general liability and premises work. The firm tries cases. Teams are built so associates can grow a practice, not just feed a partner’s book. The culture is unusually calm for a New York defense shop - no yellers, real mentoring, and a hybrid schedule.

Key Duties:Defend general liability and premises matters in New York state and federal courtManage discovery, depositions, and motion practicePrepare for mediations, hearings, and trialAdvise carriers on exposure and strategyTake ownership of files through resolution
