Are you an accountant who wants to do more than process transactions?
MM Lending is looking for a Staff Accountant who is ready to take ownership, solve problems, and build meaningful hands-on experience across a growing lending operation. You’ll work directly with the Controller and gain exposure to everything from accounts payable and reconciliations to loan accounting, month-end close, financial reporting, and process improvement.
What You’ll DoOwn the accounts payable process from invoice through paymentPrepare bank, balance sheet, and loan-related reconciliationsSupport month-end close, including journal entries, accruals, prepaids, and supporting schedulesRecord and reconcile loan activity including fundings, principal, interest, fees, draws, and payoffsResearch discrepancies and trace transactions across multiple systemsSupport financial reporting, audits, tax preparation, and lender reportingWork with QuickBooks Online, Excel, banking platforms, and loan origination and servicing systemsHelp identify smarter, more efficient ways to improve accounting processes, controls, reporting, and automation
You’ll be a great fit if you have:A Bachelor’s degree in AccountingA solid understanding of debits and credits, accrual accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statementsStrong Excel skills and the ability to learn new financial systemsA knack for digging into discrepancies and figuring out what happenedStrong attention to detail and follow-throughThe ability to manage deadlines while adapting to changing priorities
