Hiring: Information Security & Compliance Manager (Remote/Hybrid – USA EST/PST)

Salary - Upto 2200 USD/Month

Work Mode :- Hybrid - 2 days from office based in Chennai

Job Time - US Shift

Location: Remote / Hybrid (Candidates must be able to work in USA EST/PST Time Zone)

We are looking for an experienced Information Security & Compliance Manager to lead enterprise security initiatives, strengthen Microsoft 365 security, and drive compliance programs for a globally distributed organization. This is an excellent opportunity for a security professional with expertise in Microsoft 365, SOC 2, AI security, and compliance frameworks .

Key Responsibilities

Microsoft 365 & AI Security

• Secure and continuously improve Microsoft 365 environments (Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Intune, Defender & Purview)
• Manage AI platform security and governance
• Implement and maintain DLP, sensitivity labels, retention policies, and external sharing controls
• Manage endpoint security and compliance through Microsoft Intune

Compliance & Security Governance

• Own and maintain the SOC 2 Type II compliance program
• Coordinate annual external audits and remediation activities
• Maintain security controls aligned with Trust Services Criteria
• Develop and improve security policies, standards, and procedures

Risk & Incident Management

• Lead vendor security assessments and third-party risk management
• Manage security incidents, investigations, and response planning
• Oversee Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCP/DR)

Client & Internal Security

• Support enterprise customers during security reviews and due diligence
• Respond to security questionnaires and compliance requests
• Conduct security awareness training and phishing simulations
• Partner with HR for secure onboarding and offboarding processes

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or Compliance
• Minimum 2 years leading security or compliance programs
• Hands-on expertise with Microsoft 365 Security (Entra ID, Conditional Access, Defender, Intune, Purview, PIM)
• Experience managing SOC 2 Type II compliance
• Strong knowledge of security governance, risk management, and incident response
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working directly with enterprise clients and security teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC, CCSP, or Microsoft Security Certifications (SC-100, SC-200, SC-300, SC-400, MS-500)
• Knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST CSF, HIPAA, GDPR, or PCI DSS
• Experience securing AI-enabled environments
• Experience supporting globally distributed remote workforces
