Its programs are broadly based on Montessori principles and enriched with hands-on experiences that engage all the senses and support multiple intelligences, including mathematical, logical, linguistic, kinesthetic, musical, artistic, interpersonal, intrapersonal, and spiritual development. The Freethinking School currently operates multiple branches in Bengaluru.

Role Description The School Admissions Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Koramangala, Bengaluru, responsible for managing and coordinating the admissions process for prospective learners and their families. This role includes responding to inquiries, guiding families through application and enrolment steps, conducting campus tours, and organising information sessions that reflect the school’s experiential and Montessori-based approach. The Admissions Officer maintains accurate admissions records, collaborates closely with academic and administrative teams to forecast enrollment, and supports outreach activities, events, and open days. The role also involves providing clear, timely communication to parents and guardians, ensuring a welcoming, inclusive experience that aligns with the school’s values.

Qualifications

  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills to engage effectively with learners, parents, and colleagues.
  • Customer Service and Relationship Management skills to ensure a responsive, supportive admissions experience.
  • Knowledge of Education systems and school processes; experience in school or higher education admissions is beneficial.
  • Exposure to International Admissions or diverse educational backgrounds is an advantage.
  • Ability to work on-site full time in Bengaluru, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfort with using digital tools, student information systems, and basic office software.
  • Relevant bachelor’s degree in education, administration, communications, or a related field preferred.
  • Commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory practices and alignment with experiential, child-centric learning philosophies.
