Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery Internship

Intermountain Health seeks Registered Nurses for a Labor and Delivery Internship in our patient-centered, mission-driven system. In this structured program, you’ll provide bedside care to birthing patients and newborns under preceptor guidance, including assessments, monitoring fetal/maternal status, medication administration, and support during labor, delivery, and recovery. Interns participate in evidence-based education, simulations, and interdisciplinary teamwork. You’ll learn to use EMR systems, follow safety and infection-control standards, and collaborate with physicians and staff to deliver compassionate, culturally sensitive care while building a strong foundation for an L&D nursing career.
