Job Description
Job Summary: The Physiotherapist is responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing physiotherapy treatment programs to restore patient mobility, reduce pain, and improve functional independence. The role involves working collaboratively with consultants and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care and rehabilitation outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients' physical condition, mobility, strength, and functional limitations.
- Develop individualized physiotherapy treatment and rehabilitation plans.
- Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and rehabilitation interventions.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans accordingly.
- Educate patients and attendants regarding home exercise programs and preventive care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection control, and safety standards.
- Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals for integrated patient care.
- Operate physiotherapy equipment safely and effectively.
- Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an HEC-recognized institution. Preference will be given to candidates holding a Master's degree.
Additional Information
Experience: Minimum 7 years of clinical experience in a recognized tertiary hospital.
