Alora Designs is a premium architecture and interior design studio based in Bangalore, working across high-end residential architecture, commercial architecture, and hospitality design. The Role

As a Junior Architect at Alora Designs, you'll work across the full lifecycle of a project — from early concept sketches through design development, working drawings, and on-site coordination during construction. You'll report directly to the founder, giving you a level of mentorship and design exposure that's rare at this stage of a career. This is architectural design work, not just drafting: you'll be expected to think, question, and contribute ideas from day one.

What You'll Do Develop architectural design concepts for residential, commercial, and hospitality projects, from early sketches through design development Prepare working drawings and construction drawings — plans, sections, elevations, and detailed junctions Research and specify materials, finishes, and construction details in collaboration with senior architects Coordinate with structural, MEP, and interior design consultants to ensure design intent carries through to execution Conduct site visits and support site coordination during construction to ensure drawings translate faithfully into built spaces Produce 3 D visualizations and presentation material for design reviews and client meetings Participate in client-facing design presentations as your role grows

What We're Looking For

Must-have: B. Arch degree, COA registered or eligible for registration 1–3 years of relevant experience as an Architect, Junior Architect, or Architectural Designer — ideally at a design-led residential, commercial, or hospitality studio Strong design sensibility and a portfolio that demonstrates architectural design thinking, not just technical execution Proficiency in Auto CAD and at least one 3 D design tool — Sketch Up, Revit, or Rhino Comfort moving between concept design, construction drawings, and site coordination

Nice-to-have: Experience with rendering and visualization tools (Lumion, V-Ray, or Enscape) Prior exposure to hospitality design or high-end residential architecture projects Working knowledge of interior design coordination

Compensation & Work Details Compensation: 25, based on experience Work mode: In studio (Mon-fri), off on 2nd and 4th saturdays Location: Indiranagar, Bangalore
