About the RoleYou’ll help take a proven, mission-focused product suite beyond its original customer environment and make it deployable across a much wider range of customers and environments.
Your core challenge is to genericize the current solution. That means removing customer-specific dependencies, abstracting environment-specific configurations, and building interfaces that let authorization workflows and key management operations run across many different customer environments. Your work will touch every major part of the ecosystem: clients, the Portal, Proxy services, and OpenBao-based key management services.
What You’ll DoLead changes to encryption libraries and key management servicesMigrate code from low-side to high-side environmentsSet and apply best practices so solution designs are implemented successfully, through clear team communication, planning documentation, system testing, and defect resolutionManage day-to-day work toward project milestonesContribute to project planning and status reporting
What You Bring (Required)12+ years of professional experienceA BS in Computer Science or a related field, or 8 years of equivalent work experienceExperience with C or C++8+ years of Java development on both Linux and WindowsProficiency in at least one more high-level language, ideally Python, Go, or Rust (JavaScript is a plus)5+ years of cryptographic experience, with a solid understanding of key managementStrong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with teammates and clients
