Job Description
The Hospital Pharmacist is responsible for ensuring the safe, effective, and appropriate use of medications within the hospital by reviewing prescriptions, dispensing medications, monitoring drug therapy, and providing accurate medication-related information to patients and healthcare professionals. The role involves collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff to optimize patient care, maintaining accurate medication records, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements, monitoring medication storage and inventory, identifying potential drug interactions or adverse reactions, and supporting medication safety and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm-D) degree from a recognized institute/university and registration with the Pharmacy Council of Pakistan.
Additional Information
Experience: Minimum 2 to 3 years of practical work experience in a recognized tertiary care hospital.
