<p><b>Position: Structural draughtsman</b></p><p><br /></p><p><b>PLACE OF POSTING: Bangalore</b></p><p><br /></p><p><b>EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND</b></p><p><br /></p><p><b>Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related discipline.</b></p><p><br /></p><p><b>WORK EXPERIENCE (Industry, Area of experience, Years of Experience)</b></p><p><br /></p><p><b>5-10 years of experience</b> in precast detailing for the <b>real estate or construction industry</b>, particularly on <b>high-rise buildings</b>.</p><p><br /></p><p><b>PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES</b></p><p><br /></p><p><b>Comfortable working with design software (AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla, etc.) and reading complex blueprints.Capable of identifying potential design conflicts and offering practical, cost-effective solutions. Keeps up with advancements in design tools, materials, and construction technologies.</b></p><p><br /></p><p><b>RESPONSIBILITIES </b></p><p><br /></p><ul><li>Prepare detailed shop drawings and erection plans for <b>precast concrete elements</b> including slabs, beams, columns, wall panels, staircases, and other structural components.</li></ul><p><br /></p><ul><li>Develop 2D and 3D models using software such as <b>AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla Structures (preferred), and SolidWorks</b>.</li></ul><p><br /></p><ul><li>Coordinate closely with structural engineers, architects, MEP teams, and project managers to ensure design intent and integration.</li></ul><p><br /></p><ul><li>Interpret architectural and structural drawings and translate them into precise precast detailing.</li></ul><p><br /></p><ul><li>Review and verify dimensions, tolerances, material specifications, lifting and handling considerations.</li></ul><p><br /></p><ul><li>Generate <b>Bill of Materials (BOM)</b> and support production teams with required documentation.</li></ul><p><br /></p><ul><li>Attend design coordination meetings and site visits as required.</li></ul><p><br /></p><ul><li>Ensure compliance with applicable <b>building codes, safety standards, and industry best practices</b>.</li></ul><p><br /></p><ul><li>Identify and resolve design issues proactively to avoid delays in fabrication or construction.</li></ul><p><br /></p><img src="https://www.jobg8.com/Tracking.aspx?6m5T5ppj%2bf4qL6CJ0BGJ0k7o%2bVCPxcnVb" width="0" height="0" />
