We're Hiring: Area Sales Manager (ASM) – OTC Division

As an Area Sales Manager , you'll lead a high-performing sales team, drive business growth, build strong distributor relationships, and execute sales strategies to expand our OTC business.

Key Responsibilities

Drive primary and secondary sales to achieve business targets within the assigned territory. Manage and develop a team of Area Sales Executives (ASEs) through coaching, mentoring, and performance reviews. Monitor sales performance, identify gaps, and implement corrective action plans. Develop and execute territory business plans to maximize market potential. Ensure product availability and strong retail coverage through effective distributor management. Conduct regular market visits to monitor competition, customer feedback, and market opportunities. Review product-wise sales forecasts and ensure forecast accuracy. Conduct retailer market surveys and maintain market hygiene. Recruit, induct, train, and develop field sales personnel. Build a highly motivated sales team while ensuring low attrition.

Candidate Profile

Graduate in any discipline (MBA preferred). 4–8 years of sales experience in OTC, Consumer Healthcare, FMCG, or Pharma . At least 1–2 years of experience managing a field sales team . Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills. Experience in distributor and channel management. Good analytical, planning, and problem-solving abilities. Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
