Operating within an Agile development environment, the project emphasizes building robust RESTful APIs, integrating multiple relational databases and third-party data sources, crafting dynamic frontend interfaces with modern JavaScript technologies, and optimizing system performance—with a specialized focus on clinical trial data systems, healthcare data workflows, and regulatory compliance requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Proven experience of 5 to 8 years as a Ruby on Rails developer
• Strong understanding of the Ruby language and its nuances.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust and efficient Ruby scripts for multiple needs.
• Expertise in the Ruby on Rails framework and its core principles (MVC, RESTful architecture, Active Record, etc.).
• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., ReactJS, AngularJS) is a significant plus.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and advanced design patterns: Design Principles.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL, SQLite) and ORM (Object-Relational Mapping) concepts.
• Familiarity with concepts of Mocking and testing frameworks (e.g., RSpec).
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, particularly Git.
• Experience with API frameworks and API integration.
• Ability to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to debug complex issues and optimize code for performance.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts effectively.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
• Familiarity with Clinical trial domain is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a cross-functional project team
