Position: PRT– Classical Dance Teacher
Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of relevant teaching experience
Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Performing Arts/Dance or equivalent, with relevant teaching certifications preferred
Role Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Classical Dance Teacher (PRT level) to nurture students' artistic expression, instill discipline through classical forms, and enhance their appreciation for Indian culture and performing arts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and conduct engaging classical dance classes (e.g., Bharatanatyam, Kathak, Odissi, etc.) for middle school students
- Prepare students for school events, performances, inter-school competitions, and cultural showcases
- Integrate theory, history, and appreciation of classical dance in teaching methodology
- Maintain discipline, attendance, and student progress records
- Collaborate with other faculty members for annual days and integrated learning activities
- Promote a respectful and inclusive learning environment
Desired Skills:
- Strong knowledge and training in classical dance (one or more forms)
- Good classroom management and interpersonal skills
- Enthusiastic, creative, and student-centric approach
- Fluency in English
