Information Technology Support Specialist

The it Staff member is responsible for maintaining the organization’s computer system, networks,and hardware. This role ensuressmooth daily operations by providing technical support, troubleshooting issues, and assisting employees with technology-related needs.KEY RESPONSABILITIESInstalling and configuring computerhardware, software, systems,networks, printers, scanners, mobile phones, among other IT devicesMonitoring and maintaining computersystems and networks, including backups, and other IT devices such as security cameras, alarms, access control, UPS, etc.Responding in a timely manner to service issuesand requestsProviding technical supportand training acrossthe company (including MPA)Setting up accountsfor new users.Create user guides and manualsand provide trainingto staff on new systems.Purchasing efficient and cost-effective technological equipment and softwareRepairing and replacing equipment as necessary.Keeping abreast of technology trendsand development, and testing new technologyDevising and establishing IT policies and systems to implement and maintain security controlsPlanning and overseeing projectsby coordinating with developers to build and implement technology solutions (e.g., Net at Work, ScanForce, SPS, ASCI, AI)Communicating with all departments to understand theirrequirementsRevising existing systems and suggesting improvementsDesigning efficient IT systems to meet businessand technology needsSupport cybersecurity efforts,including antivirus and data protection measures.Inventory Management for IT related devices.
