Job Description
Insight Global is hiring Circuit Design Engineers to support a cutting-edge Space Systems program in Littleton, CO . This is a 12-month contract with possible extensions , fully onsite Monday-Friday. Pay is $50-$68/hr , depending on experience.
What you’ll be doing:
- Design and capture electrical schematics and support PCB board layouts
- Perform electrical Worst-Case Analysis and Electrical Parts Stress Analysis
- Support the development and integration of advanced avionics systems
- Troubleshoot test anomalies and investigate electronic hardware issues
- Support product certification and system-level testing
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams throughout the aerospace hardware development lifecycle
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent experience/education
- 3+ years of digital circuit design experience at the card/board level
- Active Secret clearance
- Experience with schematic design/capture and electrical analysis
- Experience supporting design evaluations and requirements verification
- Experience throughout different phases of the aerospace hardware development lifecycle
Nice to have:
- Xpedition or similar schematic capture tools
- PSPICE, Saber, or similar electronics simulation tools
- Worst-Case Analysis, Electrical Parts Stress Analysis, or FMECA experience
- Electronic hardware failure investigation experience at the CCA, unit, or system level
- Missile design experience
- Combination of design, test, operations, and/or systems engineering experience
