Job Description: Our client is seeking an experienced Small Animal Medical Director Veterinarian to take responsibility for clinical leadership while continuing to provide hands‑on veterinary care. This full‑time opportunity is suited to a senior veterinarian who enjoys guiding other doctors, strengthening medical standards and supporting a high‑performing clinical environment while maintaining direct involvement in patient diagnosis, treatment and client communication.

The position includes management and development of a small veterinary team, oversight of doctor scheduling, recruitment support, performance coaching and responsibility for escalated medical concerns. The successful candidate will also contribute to controlled‑substance management, medical protocol compliance, service capacity and financial performance while working closely with operational and nursing leadership.

This clinic is a short drive from Boston.
