Detailed Job Description

We are looking for an experienced QAD MFG/Pro Technical Consultant with 7–11 years of hands-on experience in QAD MFG/Pro development, enhancement, and production support. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in Progress (4GL), QAD modules, and UNIX, along with experience in application management and system integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and support applications in QAD MFG/Pro .
• Work extensively on QAD MFG/Pro modules including Distribution, Manufacturing, and Finance.
• Handle development, enhancement, and production support activities.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of Accounts Payable voucher creation and processing .
• Develop and maintain solutions using Progress (4GL) language and database.
• Design, develop, and support CIM interfaces .
• Participate in solution design, configuration, integrated testing, application enhancements, and production support.
• Prepare Functional Design Documents (FDDs) and technical specifications for development.
• Design and develop QAD MFG/Pro inbound and outbound interfaces and processes.
• Work with UNIX environments, including FTP and Cron jobs .
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Communicate effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in QAD MFG/Pro technical development.
• Expertise in Progress (4GL) programming and database.
• Experience with Distribution, Manufacturing, and Finance modules.
• Knowledge of Accounts Payable voucher processing .
• Experience in CIM interface development .
• Hands-on experience in application enhancements and production support.
• Knowledge of inbound and outbound interface development .
• Basic UNIX administration skills, including FTP and Cron jobs .
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
