We are partnering with an innovative, pharmaceutical manufacturing company to identify an Accounting Manager . This is a great opportunity for a Senior Accountant to take the next step.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on accounting professional who enjoys combining technical accounting expertise with operational collaboration and process improvement. The role offers broad exposure across the business, direct interaction with leadership, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact as the organization continues to grow and evolve.

This is a hybrid role, with 2 days per week onsite.

Key Responsibilities

• Own inventory and cost accounting, including standard costing, cost rolls, inventory analysis, and manufacturing variances.
• Lead key components of the month-end close, including fixed assets, accruals, accounts payable, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Partner with manufacturing and operations teams to improve costing accuracy, inventory controls, and financial reporting.
• Manage and mentor a small accounting team, providing oversight and reviewing work.
• Support quarterly reviews, annual audits, and public company internal control requirements.
• Participate in ERP implementation initiatives, process automation, and continuous improvement projects.
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and enhance financial visibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA strongly preferred.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Hands-on manufacturing cost accounting experience required, including inventory, standard costing, and variance analysis.
• Strong month-end close experience and technical accounting foundation.
• Prior experience supervising or mentoring accounting professionals.
