We’re currently seeking a full-time, in-person School Nurse to support a school in Fairfield County, CT for the 2026–2027 school year.

Position Details:Start Date: ASAPEnd Date: 12/23/2026 (May extend)Location: Fairfield, CTNew Canaan, CT, 37.5-40 Hours per WeekSchool Year: 2026-2027
Qualifications:Active CNA or LPN license.Ability to provide consistent, dedicated 1:1 support in a school setting.Comfortable supporting a student who may require wheelchair support and close monitoring throughout the day.Willingness and ability to ride the bus with the student to and from school.Pediatric experience preferred.
Responsibilities:Provide 1:1 health support for a high school medically fragile student across the school day.Accompany the student during transportation to and from school.Track the student’s tolerance for activity and respond promptly when signs of fatigue are reported or observed.Support safe mobility by staying with the student and assisting as needed when transitioning between a walker and a wheelchair.When the student is absent or leaves early, assist with coverage in the school clinic, medically fragile classroom, or other assigned setting per supervisor direction.
