We're recruiting an experienced Senior HVAC Project Manager for an established mechanical contractor delivering large-scale HVAC and mechanical construction projects across the Greater Chicago area.
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior project management professional with experience delivering HVAC projects valued at $5 million+, taking responsibility for project delivery, commercial performance and site teams from initial planning through to completion.
The Role
Manage large-scale HVAC and mechanical construction projects valued at $5 million+Take full responsibility for project delivery from inception through completionOversee project budgets, schedules, resources and commercial performanceLead and coordinate project managers, engineers, field supervisors and subcontractorsManage multiple projects at different stages of constructionCoordinate mechanical installation activities and field operationsLiaise with clients, general contractors, consultants and suppliersMonitor project costs, contractual obligations and programme milestonesIdentify and resolve technical, operational and commercial challengesEnsure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budgetMaintain strong customer relationships and provide regular project updatesSupport the development and performance of project delivery teams
The Candidate
Extensive experience as a Senior HVAC Project Manager or Mechanical Project ManagerProven track record delivering large HVAC projects valued at $5 million+Strong background in commercial or industrial mechanical contractingExperience managing mechanical installation teams and subcontractorsExcellent understanding of project budgets, scheduling and construction deliveryStrong leadership, negotiation and communication skillsComfortable managing multiple projects and competing prioritiesExperience working directly with clients and general contractorsDegree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline, or equivalent experienceWillingness to travel to project sites throughout the Greater Chicago area
