Assistant fashion designer

Role Description The Assistant Fashion Designer will support the design team in developing collections that reflect Kasya.in’s aesthetic and brand values. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with sketching and design concepts, sourcing and coordinating textiles, preparing samples, and supporting fittings to ensure proper silhouettes and finishes. The role also involves collaborating with production and artisans on embroidery details, maintaining mood boards and design documentation, and helping with quality checks on finished garments. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Jaipur, working closely with senior designers and the broader creative team.

Qualifications Strong foundation in Fashion Design and Fashion concepts, with an eye for elegant, timeless styles. Hands-on skills in Embroidery and decorative detailing, including an understanding of craft techniques. Knowledge of Textiles, fabrics, and trims, including properties, drape, and suitability for different designs. Experience supporting garment Fitting processes, with attention to silhouette, proportion, and comfort. Diploma or degree in Fashion Design or a related field. Ability to work on-site in Jaipur, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple tasks. Basic proficiency in design tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop) is an advantage. Interest in contemporary Indian fashion and craft-based design will be beneficial. Ability to multi task and meet deadlines
