We are looking for an ambitious Senior Associate – Accounting & Finance to join a fast-growing, technology-driven accounting environment serving US and UK businesses .

The role involves managing day-to-day bookkeeping, month-end close, management accounts, reconciliations, client reporting, payroll, VAT compliance, and year-end processes while working closely with international clients.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, technology-enabled environment , takes ownership, and is excited about using automation and modern tools to improve accounting processes.

• Manage a portfolio of small clients and support managers on large and complex engagements.
• Design and implement bespoke accounting processes based on client requirements.
• Oversee day-to-day transaction processing, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), bookkeeping, and month-end closure .
• Complete month-end close processes, including identifying and posting journal entries.
• Proactively manage client finance inboxes and coordinate with international clients.
• Process payroll and support VAT submissions to HMRC .
• Prepare management accounts and investor reporting.
• Support managers with operational and accounting responsibilities.
• Review your own work and the work of other team members to maintain quality standards.
• Support ad-hoc projects including consolidation, business planning, and due diligence .
• Train and support new team members as they get up to speed.
• Build strong client relationships and consistently deliver exceptional client service.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes through technology, automation, and AI-enabled tools.

• Qualified Accountant (CA/ACCA) or strong semi-qualified accounting professional.
• 5–6 years of relevant UK/US accounting experience .
• Strong hands-on experience with Xero and QuickBooks .
• Strong Excel skills and understanding of GAAP, IFRS, UK GAAP, and US GAAP .
• Experience with bookkeeping, AP, AR, reconciliations, month-end close, journals, management accounts, payroll, and VAT.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent client coordination and relationship-management abilities.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective time management and ability to manage multiple client engagements.
• Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of deliverables.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) is preferred.
• Ability and willingness to quickly learn new accounting systems, technology, and AI-enabled workflows.
