Supporting clients remotely during the tax preparation process, the seasonal Tax Support Specialist with PTIN will assist customers in gathering necessary documentation, answering tax-related questions, and ensuring the accuracy of their returns. Key responsibilities Assist customers in identifying and gathering appropriate tax documents for their returns Provide clear support via phone, chat, and email regarding tax forms, deductions, and filing requirements Leverage tax preparation knowledge to guide customers in compiling accurate and complete information Required qualifications Previous experience preparing individual tax returns (Form 1040) for federal and state filings Valid PTIN issued by the IRS Basic knowledge of tax laws and concepts Experience in a call center environment is a plus Ability to work extended hours during peak tax season (January-April)
