We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Employment Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. As an Employment Litigation Attorney, you will be responsible for representing our clients in various legal proceedings, including trials, hearings, and arbitrations. Your primary focus will be on commercial litigation and employment litigation cases. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging legal environment.
DutiesConduct legal research and analysis to support ongoing casesDraft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and contractsLitigate cases in court, presenting arguments and evidence on behalf of clientsNegotiate settlements and plea agreements with opposing counselAdvise clients on legal matters and provide guidance on potential outcomesAttend depositions, hearings, and other court proceedingsCollaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies and ensure effective representationMaintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentationStay informed about changes in laws and regulations that may impact ongoing casesAbility to take lead on majority of tasks associatd with litigation, with oversight as needed from managing partner.
Skills3+ years of litigation experience, preferably with employment law experience.Strong research skills with the ability to gather and analyze complex legal informationProficient in legal drafting, including the preparation of pleadings, motions, and briefsPreparing and responding to discovery requestsExperience in litigating cases in court with excellent oral advocacy skillsExceptional writing skills with the ability to draft clear and persuasive legal documentsKnowledge of legal administrative procedures and practicesFamiliarity with conducting thorough legal research using WestlawStrong negotiation skills to effectively represent clients' interestsAbility to work independently as well as collaboratively within a teamCommitment to doing what is right, even when it is hardFriendly attitude to both members of the firm, especially with legal staff, and clientsProblem solver who sees a new experience or question as an opportunity to grow and learnConsistent, reliable, and honest

The salary range for this position starts at $115,000, depending on your experience.We offer health insurance, including an HSA option.
We have a 1,500 hour requirement, with an opportunity to earn a bonus for hours billed above the threshold. The bonus structure will be explained in detail in the offer letter to the right candidate and will allow you know exactly what you can earn (not a “black box” compensation system). In addition, we will pay a stipend for a cell phone and provide you with a firm laptop and necessary computer equipment. xzbcwsv
