<br /> Job Summary and Responsibilities <p> As our Student Rad Tech, you will gain hands-on experience, supporting diagnostic imaging to aid accurate patient diagnosis. </p><p></p> Every day, you will assist in performing various imaging examinations (X-rays, CT, MRI), learning patient positioning, and contributing to positive patient experiences under supervision. <p></p> To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate a strong eagerness to learn, attention to detail, excellent communication, and a foundational understanding of imaging principles, committed to mastering workflow and image quality. <ul><li> Performs limited diagnostic radiographic procedures. Radiographic procedures must not include CT, the use of contrast media, and mammographic equipment. </li><li> Performs and ensures safe, knowledgeable age-specific patient care in a holistic manner. </li><li> Provides patient education and responds to patient and customer concerns. </li><li> Completes documentation of patient x-ray record and Quality Control processes. </li><li> Performs value-added activities that result in positive financial performance and customer satisfaction. </li></ul> Job Requirements <p> Required </p><ul><li> Current enrollment at the senior level in a school of Radiologic Technology accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT), upon hire </li><li> Medical Radiographer Temporary: NE, upon hire or </li><li> Limited Radiologic Technologist: NE, upon hire and </li><li> Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire </li></ul> Where You'll Work <p> CHI Health St. Elizabeth, founded by the Sisters of St. Francis of Perpetual Adoration in 1889, is a full-service, 260-bed, nonprofit regional medical center in Lincoln, Neb.
