Test Engineering Technician

<p>Primary Duties &amp; Responsibilities * Work with test engineers on developing, assembling, qualifying and maintaining new testers for laser and photodiode characterization in mass production environment. </p><ul><li>Help tester instrumentation and new tester qualification.</li><li>Collect and organize test data.</li><li>Assist in creating tester documentation and interacting with operators and</li></ul> other engineers. * Support existing testers by performing troubleshooting, creating new product recipes, maintaining spare parts, and performing daily SPC and calibration routines. * This position may require working during weekends or night shifts. Education &amp; Experience * Associate degree in technical discipline, or high school diploma with relevant industrial experience * Basic knowledge in electronics and optics, and semiconductor laser testing and instrumentation. * Industrial experience in high-volume semiconductor manufacturing is highly desired. <ul><li>Hands-on experience in MS Office, including Word and Excel.</li><li>Good communication skills.</li></ul> Skills <ul><li>Attention to detail</li><li>Good at working with small parts</li><li>Experience with semi-automated and automated processing tools</li><li>Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word</li><li>Experience in wafer level or die level handling</li><li>Excellent communication skills, essential for effective teamwork and</li></ul> cross-disciplinary collaboration. Working Conditions <ul><li>This role will be based on-site in Fremont, CA.</li><li>Regular use of a computer and other office equipment is necessary.</li><li>Candidate to work on-site in a cleanroom environment where strict cleanliness</li></ul> rules will be enforced. Physical Requirements <ul><li>Able to stand for duration of shift when needed</li><li>Sitting for extended periods while working on a computer or in meetings.</li><li>Use of hands and fingers for typing, writing, and handling documents.</li><li>Occasional lifting of objects or materials up to 20 pounds for administrative</li></ul> tasks. * Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
