TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced RN Operating Room (OR) for travel assignments . This role involves assisting in surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating with the surgical team . The ideal candidate has strong critical-thinking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments . Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain sterile surgical environments .
  • Assist surgeons during operative procedures , passing instruments and supplies.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and ensure safety throughout surgery.
  • Administer medications, anesthesia support, and IV fluids as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control and aseptic techniques .
  • Educate patients and families on preoperative and postoperative care .
  • Travel to various hospitals and surgical centers for temporary assignments .
Qualifications
  • Education: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license .
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in the Operating Room (OR) .
  • Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; CNOR preferred.
  • Skills: Proficiency in surgical instrumentation, aseptic techniques, and patient monitoring .
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long hours and assist with patient positioning .
  • Travel Readiness: Open to temporary travel assignments .
