Key AccountabilitiesLead equipment performance reviews, and identify continuous improvement opportunities for improved equipment reliabilityLead formal reviews of catastrophic equipment failure; identify root causes & oversee the development preventative action plansMonitor and steward performance report standards and accuracyReview delay information and provide feedback monthlyEstablish a monthly meeting with each process team to review performanceProvide direction and guidance for the condition monitoring, reliability and engineering standards and strategies for equipment at the mineOversee the development & improvement of the mines maintenance work management systemEstablish models and templates to assist process teams develop good R&M budgeting techniquesAssist process team to implement and improve maintenance planning processes and toolsReview the delay report for the mine on equipment performance for inconsistencies against targets.Foster effective planning and communications at the mine, by being punctual, prepared and sticking to the agenda at all meetingsInput into equipment overhauls to demonstrate areas of poor reliability are reviewed and improvement are included in the work scopesProvide guidance to engineering team on the standards for new and overhauled equipment to achieve targeted reliabilitiesRecommend and assist to implement a delay & performance reporting system at the mine reviewing the key reliability metrics at the mineInvestigate improvements to mine systems to improve equipment reliability (failure modes and effects analysis, reliability centered maintenance)Lead the development & review of equipment maintenance strategies for new and current site equipmentMonitor equipment KPI’s, review and identify opportunities for improvementBenchmark equipment performance and develop improvement action plansConduct regular audits of the mine’s equipmentFacilitate training on site - develop training plans for RCA methodology and reliability improvement principals using internal & external training methodologiesScope system and equipment improvements and establish justification for improvement investigations and solutionsDeliver assigned projects relevant to engineering reliabilityWork in accordance with statutory responsibilitiesProvide advice and support across the business relevant to your professional area;Actively investigate enhancements to standards, procedures and processes in area of expertise that achieves improvements in safety, reliability, performance, job satisfaction and productivity;Maintain knowledge of best practice within field of expertise, share interesting and useful information across the business, as appropriate;Develop the understanding of others to support and implement engineering improvements and maintain a practical knowledge of the work environment to which engineering support is provided;Develop and maintain positive working relationships with external stakeholdersTrafigura values are lived by the team.Effective communication between maintenance teams and operations team.Reporting / communication is transparent, verified and timely.Activities completed on time. xzbcwsv All activity is performed within strictest ethical standards.
Qualifications / RequirementsExperience in structural / mechanical engineeringExperience with auto cadGeneral hoist knowledgeGeneral crusher knowledgeAbility to set up historical data base from known drawings and literatureTrade Base QualificationsSAP TrainingPreferredPE Certified
