ROLE SUMMARYEmpire Fasteners is seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to obtain vendor pricing, preparequotations for Sales Account Managers, expedite vendor orders, and provide expediting reports.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESReview RFQs for part numbers, quantities, delivery needs, and documentation requirements.Obtain and compare vendor pricing, availability, lead times, and minimum quantities; negotiate within company guidelines.Prepare accurate quotations using approved costs and pricing guidelines for Sales Account Manager review.Expedite vendor orders, confirm shipping commitments, follow up on outstanding items, and escalate delays.Coordinate delivery priorities with Sales Account Managers and provide customers with expeditingreports.Maintain accurate quotation, supplier, and open-order records.Work with Sales, Purchasing, Quality, and Operations to resolve sourcing, documentation, and delivery issues.
QUALIFICATIONSThe ideal candidate has experience in supply chain, purchasing, sourcing, quoting, expediting, or sales support; strong attention to detail; effective communication skills; and proficiency with Excel and business systems. xzbcwsv Aerospace, defense, or fastener distribution experience is preferred.
SALARY RANGE: $24.00 - $34.00 per hour (depending on experience)
