BBH Credit Partners is seeking a Strategic Accounts individual to lead relationship management across a strategic set of intermediary distribution channels, including RIA custodians, bank trust platforms, TAMPs, defined contribution recordkeepers, and technology enabled alternative investment platforms. This is a client facing role requiring a polished, credible presence with platform decision-makers and the ability to independently manage complex, multi-stakeholder account relationships. The ideal candidate is a distribution professional with knowledge of intermediary platform dynamics, investment product breadth (fixed income a plus), and operational and due diligence frameworks that govern platform access and shelf space positioning. They bring intellectual depth and commercial drive. Key Responsibilities:
- Own and growth a defined account list of RIA custodians, bank trust platforms, TAMP gatekeepers, DC recordkeepers, and technology enabled alternative investment platforms, including CAIS, iCapital, and emerging competitors.
- Develop and execute account strategies with clear revenue targets, platform access milestones, and relationship depth objectives.
- Serve as an internal voice of the client by providing platform intelligence and competitive dynamics to inform product positioning, marketing strategy, and distribution priorities.
- Lead and coordinate responses to formal platform RFPs and due diligence questionnaires.
- Represent BBH’s Investment capabilities including fixed income, ETFs, SMAs, and alternatives.
- Collaborate with investment teams to develop channel-specific content, market commentary, and thought leadership.
- Provide ongoing market feedback to senior leadership on competitive positioning, platform trends, and emerging distribution opportunities.
- 5 to 8+ years’ experience in asset management distribution, with significant direct coverage of RIA custodians, bank trust, TAMPs, DC record keepers, and alternative investment platforms.
- Demonstrated history of driving AUM growth and deepening platform relationships.
- Sophisticated investment product knowledge spans fixed income, mutual funds, CITs, ETFs, SMAs, and alternative investments.
- FINRA Series 7 and 63/66 licenses required; CIMA, CAIA or CFA designation strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to engage at the executive level with institutional-caliber buyers.
- Strategic thinker with the commercial instincts to prioritize high-value opportunities and manage complex accounts.
- Exceptional communication and relationship building skills; known for credibility, follow-through and deep market knowledge.
