The successful candidate will advise private equity firms, corporate investors, and strategic buyers throughout the deal lifecycle, helping clients assess technology risks and opportunities, execute transaction-related technology initiatives, and realize value from acquisitions, divestitures, and transformations.

This role requires deep experience in one or more areas including Technology Due Diligence, IT Strategy, Technology Value Creation, Post-Merger Integration, Carve-outs, Technology Synergy Assessment, AI Due Diligence, and Digital Transformation.

The candidate will lead client engagements, manage teams, develop trusted client relationships, and contribute to the growth of the Technology M&A practice.

Key Responsibilities

Transaction Advisory & Due Diligence

• Lead Technology Due Diligence (Tech DD) and Technology Vendor Due Diligence (Tech VDD) engagements.
• Assess technology architecture, applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data, operating models, and spending technology.
• Evaluate technology risks, scalability, technical debt, modernization requirements, and investment priorities.
• Conduct AI and Data Due Diligence to assess AI readiness, governance, risks, and value creation opportunities.

M&A Integration & Separation

• Lead technology workstreams for Post-Merger Integration (PMI) and separation programs.
• Develop Day-1 readiness, TSA, integration, and carve-out plans.
• Identify and quantify technology synergies, integration costs, and value realization opportunities.

Strategy & Value Creation

• Develop technology and digital strategies aligned to business objectives.
• Advise on IT operating models, cloud strategy, modernization initiatives, and transformation roadmaps.
• Identify technology-driven value creation opportunities through automation, AI, and digital transformation.

Client & Practice Development

• Serve as a trusted advisor to CIOs, CTOs, PE operating partners, and senior executives.
• Support business development, proposal preparation, and thought leadership initiatives.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to practice growth.

• Lead and deliver high-quality Technology M&A engagements that drive measurable client outcomes.
• Build trusted advisor relationships with C-suite executives, investors, deal teams, and portfolio company leadership.
• Identify, quantify, and help realize technology-driven value creation opportunities.
• Contribute to revenue growth, market positioning, and expansion of the Technology M&A practice.
• Mentor, coach, and develop high-performing consulting teams while fostering a collaborative culture.

Qualifications Required

• CA or MBA (full time) from a premier business school (preferably IIMs / XLRI / FMS / SP Jain / JBIMS / ISB)
• Prior work experience with a top consulting organization will be preferred
• Certifications such as PMP, TOGAF, ITIL, AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience working with Private Equity firms and portfolio companies.
• Exposure to industries such as Financial Services, Healthcare, Consumer, Manufacturing, Technology, or Telecom.
• Knowledge of GenAI, AI governance, AI operating models, and AI-enabled transformations.
