About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Lead Accountant with strong expertise in Epicor ERP to join our growing finance team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience managing accounting operations using Epicor, possess strong knowledge of financial reporting, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment supporting international business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounting operations using Epicor ERP.
• Maintain the General Ledger (GL) and ensure accurate financial record keeping.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
• Conduct bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits.
• Identify process improvements and optimize accounting workflows within Epicor ERP.
• Assist finance leadership with management reports and business insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting and system-related issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (CA Inter/MBA Finance is an added advantage).
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience working on Epicor ERP.
• Strong understanding of General Ledger, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, and Financial Reporting.
• Experience with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and financial controls.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare management reports.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead accounting activities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting US or international accounting operations.
• Knowledge of GAAP/IFRS.
• Experience working in manufacturing, distribution, or product-based organizations using Epicor ERP.
• Prior experience mentoring junior accounting professionals.
