Job Description
Overview MRI Technologist – Radiology, MRI specialty, Berlin, VT, United States. Start date 08/10/2026 for a travel temporary assignment lasting 4 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,694–$2,814 per week. Guaranteed hours: not guaranteed. Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts. Setting: hospital. Key Highlights

- Setting: hospital travel assignment
- On-call and weekend coverage: 1 night per week (10p–6a); every 4th or 5th weekend; holidays included
- Perform MRI examinations for adult and pediatric patients; position patients, select coils, and optimize acquisition parameters to ensure diagnostic-quality images.
- Administer contrast injections when indicated; monitor patients during contrast administration and manage IV access as needed.
- Ensure patient safety and compliance with MRI safety protocols; screen for implants, ferromagnetic objects, and other contraindications.
- Operate MRI equipment (GE Optima 450w and related systems) and related imaging modalities; may float to other radiology areas such as fluoroscopy and OR as required.
- Document procedures and findings in the electronic medical record (Epic); communicate with radiologists and contribute to image quality review processes.
- Participate in call coverage and scheduling as required; respond to emergencies and assist with routine and urgent imaging needs.
- ARRT MRI certification (or equivalency)
- Minimum 2 years of MRI experience
- Teaching facility experience required
- EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years required
- License on file at time of submission (MRI-specific licensure as applicable)
- Ability to work in a hospital radiology setting and float to related units; flexible with schedule, including call shifts and weekend coverage
